KLM Bonaire celebrates its 80th birthday this year! To be exact: on May 9th it has been 80 years since the first KLM Fokker F-XVIII, the Oriol, landed on Bonaire. A memorable happening that KLM celebrates with several specials in the upcoming months.
Pieter de Man, General Manager Air France KLM Caribbean & Surinam, points out that KLM plans to share this anniversary together with the population of Bonaire. “We have several activities planned the coming months, for both young and old. A sneak preview of one of our specials: we offer the youth the possibility to win the trip of their dreams! So keep a close eye on the newspapers and our KLM Dutch Caribbean Facebook page”, thus an enthusiastic de Man.
Besides that, KLM loves to celebrate its birthday with other people celebrating theirs. So do you know anyone who lives on Bonaire and turns 80 May this year, please contact KLM via their KLM Dutch Caribbean Facebook page or send a letter to KLM Goddard Catering, Hato Airport Curacao.
“Without the trust and loyalty of our passengers, relations and partners on Bonaire we would not be able to celebrate this anniversary!” de Man concludes.
